Sunday School?

We've been kindly offered what we think is a great deal for a parent and kids session each Sunday morning across at Manchester Climbing Center (MCC). Each adult bringing a child gets reduced entry at £4 for themselves. Any gear hire is free and they will throw in free centre membership for anyone not already registered. [Adults can only sign in max of 2 kids each]. Start around 11ish and identify yourself as being with the Chew Valley Cragsmen or The Crag Station.

Nobody needs to commit to going every week but once we get a decent average number going there should be scope for alternating kid belaying with a few parents getting an extra sneaky few routes in, or a spot of bouldering. MCC may even provide an instructor if it becomes a regular event and enough people go.

There is scope for car sharing again to make it even more cost effective. Its about 25 mins to MCC from Saddleworth on a Sunday morning.
