Beatties Deli & Coffee Shop in Holmfirth have a webcam, not the most interesting view in the world but it is a handy way to check out if it's dry in Holmfirth before setting off to the Cliff.

Raw Edge Days have a website with a variety of topos. The one of local interest is for the boulders at Tintwistle Knarr in Woodhead Pass.

For climbing related user forums and discussions there are 2 main sites, ukbouldering and UKClimbing. ukb is more bouldering orientated. UKC has a lot more features such as photo galleries and an extensive logbook system allowing you to log and keep a record of you your climbs.

YorkClimbers is a site that facilitates climbers who want to link up with others who can climb same time as them; evenings, midweek or weekends. It has been running for perhaps 2 years with great success. No cost, simply register. Members include many from York but others from Leeds and Hull (and even Huddersfield!)
