Huddersfield Climbing Wall: Boulder Problems

The holds on the bouldering wall behind the 'elephant's trunk' are labelled with circle of colour containing a number. These are used below to create a catalogue of problems. The handholds are indicated in the description; you can use either right or left hand but not both unless indicated (by 'match'). The handholds are not necessarily sequential ie a hold could be used as an intermediate (you'll just have to work it out!). THE FOOTHOLDS ARE FEATURES ONLY (not bolt-ons, unless otherwise indicated).

The grades are Huddersfield Bouldering (Hb) Grades which are unique (to avoid argument). Any resemblance to Texan/Yorkshire "V grades" is purely coincidental. Hb 0 should be a good target for beginners. Hb 1 and Hb 2 contain moves which are probably similar to those found routes graded F6a/6b. The rest are harder

Since the resetting of all the bolt-on holds, there is no up-to-date guide to problems. If some keen person were to send in a revised version, it will reappear here in its full glory.
