NETHERTON EDGE TOPO: May 2008
Devil's Rock at Netherton has undergone a recent revival with several new problems being added to Netherton Woodland
area by Jonathan Booth. Click here for the topo.
HOLMFIRTH EDGE DAMAGED: March 2008
Those visiting Holmfirth Edge, a small but historically interesting gritstone quarry, will be sad to
discover that it has been 'painted' along much of its length (see photo for one small section of damaged rock).
Anti-grafitti paint has been spreads on many of the best problems. The slippery nature of the substance has made for
unpleasant, if not impossible climbing. The BMC are looking into the incident and its possible recovery.
