October's Boulder
SPOT THE BOULDER!
October's boulder lies in a dark pit. Even in rain, the
ground is dry and sheltered for several feet. Flash photography essential.
The route travels left to right, the only worthwhile boulder problem in the quarry.
Swing down along sandy holds to the obvious footless section. Hang sloping holds
to a nasty crucifix onto an evil sharp edge (english 6c). Snatch down and hook a heel for a pull
to the rest. The remainder, at 5c/6a, is a path. Second ascent required.
